That's pretty much it. If it's big enough to cause an entire network to shut down, you HAVE to tell your customers immediately what happened. Potential identity theft is NOT a laughing matter. And considering the fact that Sony MIGHT be face a 500,000 Pound fine by the UK also does not do good things for their rep.
