More like people don't understand what compromised means, compromised doesn't mean some hacker now has all the personal info that was on psn, it means he had the ability to acess it, thats all, compromised doesn't eqaul personal data of 77 million people stolen |
Actually I know exactly what it means in this sense. You obviously don't. Comprimised in this sense means it was being copied over. The person may have only gotten some or all of it, but he/she has the private data now. I quote the playstation blog now: "we believe that an unauthorized person has obtained the following information that you provided: name, address (city, state, zip), country, email address, birthdate, PlayStation Network/Qriocity password and login, and handle/PSN online ID. It is also possible that your profile data, including purchase history and billing address (city, state, zip), and your PlayStation Network/Qriocity password security answers may have been obtained." It is silly to try and define terms you have no experience with.
