Has anyone had any phising scams sent or had their identity stolen? NO, bottom line is well people could see your info it wasn't their main objective and it was only there for like a few days, it's not a big deal and unless they have proof a hacker looked at your account info specifically it would do nothing but cause an unjustified panic

Just because they haven't done anything with the info doesn't mean they aren't.  It's less likely that they did it just to show they could or show a hole, it's much more likely they took the information for a specific reason.

It just completely amazes me that some people will so blindly defend the things they love.  You shouldn't run and get your pitch forks but you should definately be aware of the dangers there.

Many people use the same password for everything and someone knows that password and your email now.  Many of those people don't know that someone has that information.

You don't think this is a problem?

I'm not blindly defending it, there isn't a single confirmed case of anyone actually having the information written down, it's far more likely that seeing account info was just a side effect of what the intrusion was trying to accomplish and they don't actually have the info they just had the ability to see it which they may not even have been aware of

So what do you think they were trying to accomplish?

CC information, pirating psn games, bring psn down (if it was anon), outside chance corporate sabotage (anon gives a pretty good scapegoat good time to strike) something like that, personal info which you can't even do much with and half people don't even use their real name just seems like aiming really low there are easier ways to get someones name and adress
