If the intruders used some security hole due to bugs, then it's annoying, but it happens, but if the current holes are still totally or in part due to the unforgivable security design flaw of assuming client security, then Sony must stop faffing around already and redesign its network security. THE CLIENT (particularly if remote) MUST NEVER BE ASSUMED AS SECURE for what concerns the servers' and network's security. It's a rule taught even in the most basic university courses about computer networks.
