No it isn't. Sony were neglectful and they have to take responsibility for their lack of action. i don't think the people frantically checking their bank details care what Sony's "intentions" were. Nor will the media. Or the courts, if it comes to that.

if your going to make assumptions atleast make reasonable and realistic ones or provide the evidence you have on the strength of their security.

every corporation can be hacked, it doesnt mean every single one is neglectful. Its just that the attacks have been focused on sony because geo hot failed and so did anonymous' little protest in sony stores.
