Lol, well someone's been blinded. I guess all those stories about Live going down Holiday' 07 and having trouble staying up for about 2 weeks was all fabricated. Man, how did 360 fans let these sites get away with that? http://www.engadget.com/2008/01/03/xbox-live-outage-day-13-still-up-and-down-still-preventing-fu/ |
It's called selective memory. Those that don't possess it are apparently fools.
One person in 70m gets their card fraudently charged is now considered proof that the details where stolen fron PSN.
If credit cards details being stolen is true this changes the whole ball game for the hackers. Instead of just taking down PSN they have added a mega offence to their portfolio. I seriously doubt a cracker that just wanted to give Sony a serious headache would risk commiting a much more serious crime and risking many years in prison.
instead of being done for just hacking Sony (which would have probably won them some respect in certain techy geeky circles) they would now have the world's law enforcement agencies after them for what would be considered a far more serious offence. Stealing and using or supplying people's credit card details.
