I don't think high scores sell games. Good games sell themselves, and also happen to get high scores.

I think marketing is more important. High scores is too but nothing compared to marketing. Look at Homefront, Halo, Call of duty.

I agree. Marketing is very important.

But good games can also sell themselves (Uncharted 1). Games with good legs in general.

It's true good marketing can sell anything, though.

True games like LBP and Uncharted had really poor opening but now they are one of the best selling PS3 games.
