First of all, extremely misleading thread title.

Second, is there sex educatoin before the 9th grade in the state? If not, then this is would seem just fine. No point of talkign abut homosexuality if sexuality hasn't been talked about in the first place.

It is still wrong, because if a 8th grade student comes to a teacher with questions on why he thinks boy x is cute, or female thinks girl y is hott they cannot discuss it and explain to them why.

Then it is not in class, is it?

Well..

The video says, it also limits actual education. World history has a lot of homosexual figures and events. So basically any hope of a proper history education in Tennessee is going to be thrown out the window because Greeks had homosexuals, Romans had homosexuals, the US south had homosexuals, the Japanese had homosexuals, the Germans had homosexuals, etc, etc. This means you cannot go into percussion of certain people that different cultures deemed wrong, you cannot discuss the morality of the actions, and you lose understanding.

Right, but their sexuality is largely incidental, and mostly irrelevant to the kind of watered-down history they teach throughout high school (even past 9th grade)
