Even though I've only played the Beta I can already assure you there is no other 3rd person shooter in history with as tight of controls and fluid of gameplay as Gears of War 3.  Beautiful Gorgeous graphics, insane gameplay, amazing weapons and atmosphere.  One of my favorite franchises of all time is coming to a glorious end of its trilogy.

 

 

Uncharted 2 is amazing for sure and a hell of alot of fun, but I didn't enjoy it as much as many did.  Its easily a top game for me and I feel it has a beautiful presentation and compelling narative but from a gameplay perspective just isn't as good as Gears of War is to me.

But if Gears 2 doesn't count cause its not out yet I'd be more than willing to pick Gears 2.

We will see far more Gears of War in the future I'm 100% sure!

Oh yeah I'm sure we'll still see some more Gears of War but Cliffy B and Epic have been adament that this is the end of this story arc and trilogy.

If Marcus or Dom die ( and I think one if not both surely will ) I'm going to be beyond sad.
