because gears of war did soo much right , they started the cover system that everyone tries to copy it and each fails at it still , it a graphics beast , and it was litterly first game to have online co op with a buddy on xbox live and , it just pure gore and fun

i was refering to him saying Gears of War invented that type of cover system, and that games like uncharted copy it.

furthermore, like i said previously, not only did gears not invent that type of cover system, but Uncharted didnt even copy it. Uncharted came out about a year after Gears. that means UNcharted was in development for over a year, that means they had the core gameplay mechanics already set, before gears even came out. after gears, the rest of the dev time is spent mostly refining, and polishing the game.
and yes i have played gears, and they still didnt come up with the cover system, and Uncharted still didnt copy it. which is what you claimed

Okay Uncharted did not copy the Gears cover system. They both work very differently. I agree with him ^ what does your bolded statment mean? I own both Gears and have no idea what your saying. Fix your grammar so we can all understand what you say next time.
