Actually the aim of weapons just sucks dick. The earlier weapons especially are very inaccurate, it's not the hit detection. Considering they can detect whether a knife hit the guy in the neck or his helmet or armor, I am fairly sure this is the best hit detection I have seen yet. The later weapons were a lot less wonkier. In fact almost all "buggy" complaints I have heard from people come from them not understanding how the mechanics actually worked. Another people bitched about is stealth, when it is perfectly fine and worked just fine for me when I needed it. |
I think people just got used to the wonkiness of the weapons the more they played so it seemed less broken.
The very first act is using the most advanced weapons since most of the game is based on flashbacks before that event, and I remember playing that beginning part and wondering if my 3D vision rendering of the crosshair may be broken cause I couldn't hit those creatures properly to save my life lol.
Stealth wasn't bad tho. It wasn't as forgiving as MEtal Gear per say...you get detected, you're pretty much dead. But I liked that...
