Is it just me or is anybody else having issues with PSN?

Do people really believe this?  

There is clearly a problem, no way would Sony would take down PSN to facilitate implementation of the Portal 2 cross play.

I don't know what to believe.  But I surely hope that it is back up by this weekend because I intend on playing some.
