| Rath said: @Thranx. Actually it turns out that because smokers pay more in taxes and essentially kill themselves before they get old they're actually cheaper than your average citizen. Also suprisingly government run healthcare really works, even in quite large countries. The British may bitch about their NHS a bit, but in general they think its really worthwhile in the end.
