Yeah I remember Cliffy himself describing Gears as "Resident Killswitch" or something like that.

That aside, there is no doubt Gears will be remembered this generation and one of the defining games. I remember when the X360 was still pretty new and people were getting it, you couldn't talk to someone very long without Gears of War coming up.

I bought the 360 just for gears. Best game on the console along side mass effect.
