Gears Of War defined HD graphics. In xmas 2006 Gears Of War blew everyone away with the first true HD graphics to make people stand up and pay attention.
2ndly it defined Co-op gameing. You know Campaign coop. It was a HUGE selling point of it's time.
If it wasnt for Gears of War Uncharted would have used their original control system. Which Uncharted devs admitted were nowhere near as good.
Gears Of War defined alot for this gen. Or you have seriously bad memory.
