Now u are almost constantly at top speed so the player doesn't appreciate it. The levels are as linear as they can get and the controls are so loose that they have to resort to lock on targeting to make the mechanics playable. I'm sorry if sonic follows this path i believe that it will never return to its glory days. |
WTF?
I have played Sonic since the first ever Sonic released. Sonic has never ever had good platforming controls and mechanics. And nowhere near the level of control Mario has. I have no idea what games you have been playing.
Sonic has always been about speed, colour, fun and music. Never has Sonic been about good control and exploration. When they did try that, it fell horribly flat on it's face next to the likes of Mario. Sonic needs to always stick to what it does best. Then we will all enjoy and love it.
