The way I read it is those requirements are for EACH character.  Hard?  Doubtful.  But hella time consuming?  Yes.

Yeah, it looks time consuming. Now, are those 100 victories just offline (Story/Tower/Versus) or online against people? If online, it's going to be a huge pain in the ass. It looks like there's 27 characters (including Cyber Sub-Zero and Quan Chi, but not including Kratos), so 27 times 24 hours equals a total of 648 hours worth of playing the game. If it's true, then that makes it one of the top 5 (most likely) time-consuming games to platinum to date.
