Well today I was bored so I decided to do something really cool........ make a new thread!!! So anyways I was just looking back at 2006-2011 sales. And WOW i noticed some big changes!!! So here are the 10 most surprising moments of 2006-2011!! Please list your own and make up your own 10 as well.
10. DS selling 170 million!! No one could have guessed back then it would sell more than the PS2.
9. Halo 3 selling more than GTA 4 on one console. Grand theft auto was the biggest thing ever back in the PS2 days. No one saw it getting overtraken by anything.
8. Wii outselling the 360 and PS3. It was predicted to be last.
7. Uncharted from getting a 133,078 week 1.And getting 3.6 million total ! While Uncharted 2 has 4.6 million and still selling.
6. Sony didn't put George Hotz in jail sue him for like $100 million. I heard a lot of people talking stuff like that outisde of VGC.
5. Gears launched really well despite having the PS3 launch in the same week.
4. GT5 prologue being the best selling sony game until GT5 laucnhed.(Why do so many PS3 owners buy like only 1 sony game other than Uncharted and God of war) Polyponydigital.com
3.By 2008-2009 PSP getting low sales in America despite it being really hyped and doing well.

1. Call of duty 3 that launched in 2006 which had an opening of 88k in 2006 for PS3 and 4.4 million for black ops! For the Xbox 360 COD 3 got 274k and Black ops getting 5.8 million 360.
