Do you guys hate Silver The Hedgehog or just the game he appeared in?

Don't know much about him (and thank God, because he's main appearance was in Sonic 06).

But correct me if i'm wrong. He have some sort of connection with the Blaze the cat, isn't it? Can you explain a little of his back story?
