personnaly, I have seen plenty of ads with girls for CASUAL TITLE.
Usually, for a hardcore game, they show us guys, not girls.

It doesnt matter how many you have seen with girls in it, doesnt mean they all are. You are labelling without true cause. And I doubt there isnt many, remember not a lot of "hardcore games" show people playing them so we have to rely on characters and there are plenty
