Although to some people Obama IS a muslim. Though amusingly the people that should be true to are some sects of muslims to which it's genetic a lot like Judsiasm. Not random christians. |
Personally, I would say both beliefs come from the same basic root ...
Obama has made some statements in the past which seem to be at odds with how most people see typical Christian beliefs; and this leads people to think that he is masking his true beliefs behind a Christian Facade for political reasons. This (of course) doesn't mean that either group is correct, and it could be that he has inconsistent beliefs or has simply made awkward statements that were taken out of context.
