No offense, and I love Rurouni Kenshin as much as the next guy, but didn't the show and OAVs already cover everything except what led up to the Jinchu arc? Unless its about that...I rather not see any more. Lord knows the last third of the show was ruined because they tried to add more to the series.

I'm pretty sure it won't be bs filler. At worst we'll probably get a remake of the original series with the Jinchu arc added. And quite frankly with anime as quality bankrupt as it is right now I'd rather have a revival of an old series that I know is good rather than the 50 crappy series studios seem to regugitate

I'd disagree that there isn't anything good out now. I've been watching Anime for nearly 20 years (since 1992) and there's been at least a few good shows every year. There's just 10x more Anime coming out now than in the late 90s when Kenshin was out. And like anything, more content means its harder to find the good content over the flood of bad content. Think Anime being in the 'PS2' era right now, where the filler and cheap games outweighed the bad, but there was still amazing games. Hopefully in 5 years or so, we'll have even better shows come along, as Anime is doing a lot better financially.
Also, many shows have been remade or upadted in the last 10 years including Ah! Megami-sama, Slayers, Eva, Hatoku no Ken, Ghost in the Shell, Dragon Ball, Tenchi Muyo, Ninja Scroll, X, Urusei Yatsura and more. But its up to opinion which ones hit their mark and those which weren't as good as their original Anime versions (*cough* Slayers *cough). Hopefully Kenshin will get the DBZ Kai or Eva treatment and be a retelling of the same story with better animation and no filler.
Not that Kenshins fight with Saitou or Shishio needs to be updated visually.

I wouldn't call Oh My Goddess a remake, as the original was really more of a strict OVA
Unless you're talking about Together Forever, which i haven't seen yet and don't know what it entails (i want to, i keep forgetting)

Well, the series kind of went over the same content as the OAV, without the 'lol we knew each other as kids have a ring' thing. Like many OAVs in the 90s, they made an artificial ending because the Manga was still ongoing. Sadly, it looks like the series has been cancelled after 2 seasons. Also, there's another spin-off series called Adventures of Mini-Goddess. But it has even less to do with the Manga than the OAV....
Speaking of which, I wish they'd fricken come out with a 3x3 Eyes series already. If any Manga needed an Anime transition more, I can't think of it. Aside from the rest of Hajime no Ippo.
