Chinese foods? Fireworks? China-Town(s)?

Fireworks aren't a recent invention, food isn't a strong enough influence, and Chinatowns are ghettos.

Modern Chinese scoiety, due to the Communist system, is a colsed society and their restrictions of free speech and free interraction with the world outside their country prevents them from gaining significant influence over the world.

And when speaking of China, where did they get Communism from? Germany (as the origin point) via the Soviet Union). Only parts of the Muslim world and Bhutan exist in a place free from Western values, and the subversive elements in the Muslim cultures are heavily western influenced (and Iran has a very strong basis of Western influence. They were the first middle eastern country to adopt a Constitution way back when)

So you're basically sayin that the West is influencing China, and not vice versa. I also said that China became a closed state after it adopted Communism (Communist states are closed states). The strict control they have on free speech, the censorship and their lack of export of cultural products will prevent them from having a major influence on the world (culturally, which is harder to achieve than economic influence or military influence).

I dunno.  A quick search shows quite a number of American buisnesses and stores.

I mean holy crap Look at all the Wal-marts!

See... after they closed themselves off, the British got Hong Kong... and Hong Kong was totally full of western culture... and when it went back to China it basically caused western culture to spread pretty widely.
