But this is monitor which is watched less than 1 meter away. 30 inch screen from 2 meter distance is exactly as big to human eyes 15 inch from 1 meter. So if you watch this screen from normal viewing distance (2.5-3 meters) resolution is completely wasted. You can't even in theory see difference to normal 1080p TV's, that would require minimum 50 inches.
