Well, the new F1 game, Uncharted games, the new Fifa game, Little Big Planet games, and the old classics like Final Fantasy IX and Spyro 3 are high up my list for wanted games.

Uncharted and LittleBigPlanet games I can tell you are fantastic from personal experience. Uncharted 2 is my 2nd favorite game of all time, and LBP is just an incredibly fun, entertaining, humorous game to play, especially 2, 3, or 4-player co-op (local or online) with friends. Such a great game.

Other games I recommend are Metal Gear Solid 4 (favorite game of all time - never thought I liked the series until I played this game), inFAMOUS (3rd favorite game of all time), Killzone 3 (first fps multiplayer I've ever enjoyed). Resistance 1 & 2 are also great games, though the only thing I really liked about R2 was its online 8-player co-op. But the coop is so solid it made the game totally worth my $60. inFAMOUS 2, Uncharted 3, Resistance 3, Twisted Metal, and maybe The Last Guardian are all set to release this year as well.

Definitely an amazing time to get a ps3 imho. Gotta do what you want though. It seems like you want one, so if that's the case then go for it.
