# $299 PS1 announcement, because that was what swayed my parents towards getting me one of those instead of a Saturn or N64, if they hadn't I would have been typing this as a Mario or Sonic fanboy.
- Xbox 360 slim giveaway/bribe, the news of the console itself was great, but the whole apple-style giveaway just smacked of desperation to liven up what was a pretty disappointing conference.
