I did not buy modnation racers because of the rediculous loading times in the demo.
The original motorstorm was pretty bad too loading in the cars, I'm glad that got improved.
Most recently DA2 was driving me crazy, the loading times aren't too long by themselves but it's load, walk 10 feet, back to map, load, over and over again.
GT5 is just on the edge of tolerable, except in the early rally stages where races only last 40 seconds.
Startup times should be improved too next gen. Usually I turn on my console and start the game first then head back up to get a drink. I hate games that want you to press OK somewhere in between all the advertising and warning screens. Yes I want to connect to online, YES I KNOW IT AUTOSAVES OK. Just have it start my last save automatically so I can start playing when I come back.
