Enslaved is a very good game imo. i admit Trip is annoying at first, but its not a black and white game. the characters evolve through shades of grey. the story is very well written, very good ending. excellent character development between the main characters. and the graphics are great.
the big problem i have with the game is Unreal Engine 3, where everything looks good - until it moves. and i think UE3 was holding back the gameplay. i agree the controls arnt responsive enough and theres definitly some camera issues, and framerate issues.
but Ninja Theory did use a different game engine for Heavenly Sword, and i've heard that worked out quite well since it was a PS3 exclusive and they didnt have to make comprimises. so these developers are good!
and theres not enough replay value imo. despite how good the story is.
however, i am very concened about the dmc reboot, yes the story and characters will no doubt be brilliant and set a new standard for the series, since storytelling was never DMCs forte'. but how will they capture the action on the awful Unreal Engine 3 is something i have no idea about - and it could be a disaster!
