Infamous is the perfect game when it comes to load times. I just put in the disk, it skips everything and just jumps straight to your last checkpoint in the game. The game then just runs seamlessly, not a single load time throughout the whole thing. I really hope they stick to that in Infamous 2.
Mass Effect 2 has annoying load times.
Yakuza 4 has horrible load times.
Skate 3 can grate.
Earlier in this generation, I was able to cope with load times, I ignored them and just enjoyed the experience. My patience as of recently has started to crack, when you've played games like God of War 3, Infamous, Nier, Uncharted 2, Black Ops and Dead Space 2, then your standards are raised and games are still falling under those standards on a constant basis.
This is why the N64 will always be one of the greatest consoles ever made, no load times at all. Playing the PS1 back then was like scraping a hammer claw against my arm.
Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.
