It's not going to be long before the PS3 overtakes the 360's sales. Microsoft should do a $50 price cut on the 250 GB 360 or else Sony will maul them when they cut the cost. Look at how the PS3 is selling at $299.

So what if it does? it has a hasnt in hell passing the Wii so at the end of the day its just fighting for second place.

In terms of business and the market it's probably not such a huge deal, Sony will toot their horn, the media will gobble it up and it may change the mindset of some casuals.

But on the internet, there will be flaming/damage defense on a whole different level to what we've seen for years I'd imagine.

This is already happening.
