Hey man.  A good portion of society cares for animals more then they do other people.

I guess on the theory that animals aren't dicks.

Which I mean... animals are dicks.  It's just they're weaker and therefore can't really do anything to us.

But still. 

Heck, rapists and murderers become beloved again in sports "Kobe Bryant and Ray Lewis"

Yet, Michael Vick, everyone still hates.

 

Edit: Oh and for anyone who wants to say "But kobe was found innocent" he wrote an apology letter for the rape and sent it to the victim where he aknowledged it was nonconseunsual.

Maybe because at least those bastards are talented basketball players, while this guy has no reedeming qualitites.
