It probably won't happen anytime this year. if the ps3 drops it's price the xbox 360 will do the same so it wouldn't really benifit them to drop the price. also with ps3 sales doing much better then the other consoles they might as well take full advantage of this price point. i think a price drop will probably happen after the 2012 E3.
