| TheSource said: I've spoken to Sony about this before and they've admitted to making typos in press-releases. They don't retract them because its not worth it usually. 408m / 480m is a pretty easy typo really through the end of 2010. I have Sony's shipments by quarter before the edit to the September quarter on their site at these levels:
You'll notice the numbers are exactly the same, save for the September 2010 quarter as on Sony's website http://www.scei.co.jp/corporate/data/bizdataps3soft_sale_e.html which as I say was changed a month ago and doesn't make sense with the seasonality of the December 2010 quarter and the magnitude of titles released - GT5, COD, etc. |
I got now... but I'm confuse yet.
* 480m is a wrong or typo... ok.
* The sum of the numbers in Sony website is 424.8m.
* The sum of the numbers in your table is 408.2m.
What the real number? 480m, 408.2m or 424.8m?
