What can I say the Playstation brand has been home to my favorite gaming franchises of all time. Theres a reason why so many people are Sony Fans and its not because Sony released an expensive consol that left us broke or because they took away features that originally came with the PS3. Its because of the exclusive games playstation has been home to for many years.
I know people say the earlier FF games were better than the PS1 games but honestly how many of us played those older FF games before FF7 won our hearts. How many of us had day dreams of being solid Snake after playing MGS for the first time. How many of us put hundreds of hours into games like Gran Turismo, Final Fantasy, Grand Theft Auto San Andreas, Demons Souls and how many of us were blown away with Franchises like Uncharted and Infamous.
If theres ever 3 consols that people really need to experiance as a gamer then it has to be the 3 Playstation Consols. Look at peoples sigs on forums around the internet and most sigs features games that gave birth on the Playstation brand or excelled once they hit the Playstation brand. If you havn't played any of those 3 consols then your really missing out as a gamer.
