Portal 2 to get full Steam experience on PS3

So does Steam apply to this game only? I'm wondering if there's any chance in the future that the ps3 itself gets built-in Steam integration.

 

This whole Portal 2/ps3 Steam thing has been confusing but, I like where it's going...
