I really hope thatit isn't just Wii HD.

I already have WiiHD at home. Screenshot of how Wii HD games will look like below...

https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/_m4ygvA6-tB0/TaPCWiZWmZI/AAAAAAAAAYY/zIWe9z-vNAs/s1600/Dolphin

That looks exactly the same as SMG2 on my TV...

It's the same game, just at a higher resolution - You'll notice it has no jaggies/ smoother overall with some AA

That is corect.

Mario Galaxy 2 runs at 720 × 480  res on the wii if you have component cables.

That screenshot is 1600x800...and its only that because Picasa wouldn't allow me to upload the original 3240x1920 resolution screenshot which was taken when playing Mario Galaxy 2 across 3 monitors.

All I am saying is that I don't see Nintendo improving much on 3240x1920 res if all they are doing is going "HD". So I hope they introduce something completely new and blow MS and Sony execs minds with simplicity.

I understand there's a huge resolution difference and AA helps a lot when you play on 3 screens, but on my TV (Sharp Aquos 720P) I can hardly see any jaggies anyway. It took some tweaking with the settings ofcourse, but some Wii games almost look HD quality with vibrant colors and a sharp image (Super Mario Galaxy 2, Metroid Prime 3...).
