Actually, no. You have the option of using a microphone or using Kinect. Using Kinect is a feature because of the inbuilt microphone. Master mode has you dancing and singing at the same time. Impossible with a microphone in your hand.

So in which case, I'm completely right!

And this game is a Ubisoft game. Your Shape fitness has this Avatar of you. It's freakishly real. Showing even your clothes and tatoos. Looks much better on your telly.

Guess I was indeed wrong about the microphone part. The few reviews of the 360 version I've read so far either said one needs additional wireless microphones or simply didn't mention it, which made me believe they are necessary for the singing. My bad.

About the user avatar: I own Your Shape, and while it's actually even my favourite Kinect game, I do think the user avatar looks quite weird, like a freak. But looking at some screenshots of the Kinect version of MJ: the experience just made me believe that the video in this thread was really just a bad example. The user images in those screenshots were indeed looking good.

Unlike in Your Shape, I would however still prefer mimicing the moves of a Michael Jackson avatar over seeing my image in a dancing games like this one.
