Voted Orange Box because I enjoyed Portal a lot more than all those others combined. The fact that I am resorting to voting a puzzling game as best FPS of the generation shows just how bad this generation has been for FPS.

Note, I use bad and good to refer to my personal preferences. This has been a terrible FPS generation if you like arcade shooters, and those which prioritise gameplay and local multiplayer over graphics and online multiplayer.

LMAO, name me 5 great FPS on the console last Gen?

I feel no need to list 5, I would not play 5 FPS games in a generation. Nor do I feel a need to limit myself to the console, because the OP did not for his selection of 6 games.

Time Splitters 2 and CS1.6 are better than any FPS game this generation, Goldeneye would be amongst the top 10 if it were released this generation, let down only by its single analogue stick and poor graphics, Perfect Dark would be my favourite FPS of the gen if it released this gen. What is the point of debating which is the best FPS of the generation when the entire industry has forgotten how to make FPS games.

Even if it's personal opinion, don't try to hate on something you don't play. I love FPS and frankly, you needed a PC to play great FPS last gen. This GEN however, they are front and center. There are so many good ones , the bar has been raised. It's one Genre that has actually moved foward instead living in the past. You want Local multiplayer, there are plenty. Killzone 3, Resistance, COD all have it.

Funny, Golden eye was release on the Wii last year, and I believe Perfect Dark is on Live for download. And my favourate FPS is Resistance Fall of Men, and the graphics sucks by today's standard.
