The parent was clearly there at the time. It's not equivalent to a stranger in a dark alley or something.
@Sapphi. A paedophile is somebody attracted to children, any evidence that the woman was getting anything at all sexual from that? It was her job and she did it.
I'm assuming this person refused to do the scan that means you don't get frisked. Honest truth, terrorists would be willing to use kids if they knew that they could bypass security with them. You can't just not search some people.
