Squall_Leonhart said: @ Rocket I think people that moan about the design of the controller are a bit silly, why change a design that has been greatly accepted from the very first Playstation! I wasn't fond of the look of the boomerang controller, neither were a lot of people, so Sony changed it back to the old design and it has been very well accepted. The whole thing about not having rumble is a bit of a pain but tbh i do not miss it, hence why i have not gone out of my way to obtain a DS3 via importing! I will pick one up on release here in the UK but only as i need an extra controller and might as well get one! It does seem that you have nothing positive to say about Sony at all... |
I think you're confusing "nothing positive to say about Sony" with "not licking Sony's bootstraps". I complain about all three manufacturers when they do something stupid. Sony's just been dishing out the most stupid lately so they catch a little more flak.
I liked the DS design... In 1998, mainly because I didn't know any better. Since then, console controllers have gone a long way and ergonomically, the 360 controller is vastly superior. Staggered analogs, better triggers, and a more comfortable grip.
And I have plenty of positive things to say about Sony. I've liked the past few games I have played on the PS3 and I've been pretty open about that on this forum.
