I started reading this book years ago, but I left 5 chapters unfinished. I decided to pick it back up, start it over, ad finish it this time.
A lovely story of a poor orphan girl who grows up, finds the love of her life, becomes a better person than those who pushed her around. It's intyeresting that Jane is an unpretty girl, who falls in love with an unpretty man, rather than her being a beautifull girl who falls in love with Appollo. She's also fairly independent, sometimes defiant, pretty weird considerign the time when the books was written.
I didn't like all the religious reffrences (the author sure was a devout Christian), but other than that a great book, with some nice characters, and a great plot.
