He was in the wrong, SONY was in the right. He lost, they won. Seems pretty cut and dry here. He lost me when he violated every rule in the book by giving out the information.
I'm all for personal hackery for knowledge, etc, but when you start really violating copyright by giving out information like that, knowing full well that it _will_ be used to pirate games and cheat, you lose all moral high ground.
He got what he deserved.
