Peyton Hillis was the supportive backbone for my Fantasy Football the entire season; unfortunately he petered out towards the end, but damn, did I appreciate his consistency.

He only petered out because the coaches stopped running him as much. For some reasone I don't understand. 

Their playoff dreams were already ended at that point in the season. No reason to risk injuring their best player in meaningless games.

When you only have five wins on the season you don't give up at the risk of injury. 

Then again, they have to start thinking about next season.
