What is it about plat-forming games that you love?

Platformers fix your shit.

Even games like Assassins Creed, Batman: Arkham Asylum and Infamous have heavy platforming aspects.

A game doesn't need to have 'guns and super powers' to be good.  Yet some major platformers do have them.

Nuh uh. 

Those games are other genres that incorporate some platforming into it.  Its not built purely on platforming because it would suck,  you want batman to jump on someones head rather than punching them in the face?

The 90's are over people get with todays gaming.
