For me, as a whole, it'd be FPS games. They all don't give me the reflex speed I want versus real life. (As someone who likes laser tag, I know what kind of reaction speeds I need.) FPS games still lack the basic things I would do, like the ability to do a quick 180. Then there's jumping controls, and well... I can go on.

Sports normally would be in the running, but I consider racing a subset of sports, and I like some racing games. And sandbox (which is not adventure, that's an entirely different classification) games have potential, though it is ruined by things like GTA. If all sandbox games were GTA-style, then it would trump FPS for worst games for me.

There is no such thing as a perfect (in either direction) genre, though- all of them have exceptions. JRPGs are my favorite, but there are quite a few that are, frankly, junk. And Goldeneye (N64 version) has enough fun other things to do that I don't mind it, despite it being an FPS. So you're going to find good and bad things everywhere.
