Mines a bit of a tie so I cant really vote

Id go FPS not shooters just FPS..

WRPG's/SRPG's <3 JRPG's

Adventure doesnt = only Sandbox btw but if you are meaning games like GTA yea. The ones I have tried are yawn. Only game I like that someone might consider sandbox is Top Down Zelda's.
