Ladies and Gentlemen of the armed forces and government workers of the United States, we are getting paid. :)
President Obama says negotiators reached a budget deal that will avoid a shutdown. The House will pass a short-term measure that will keep the government funded through next week, when a longer-term package will be enacted.
