If you had to recomend an game to someone who never played games before, you would proberly say Tetris, I say Portal. Because Portal displays what the current games are like in terms of style as well as it is prefectly exectued, its interesting to all and its short and entertaining enough for an person to finish in one play though.
Portal is one of the beloved Small titles this generation. And there couldnt be any more pressure on Valve to deliever above and beyond that of Portal with there next edition: Portal 2.
Not only do they need to top it, but they need it to last far longer than the orginal and contain interesting puzzles so that players who have been mastering there portal abilities dont breeze though the game and that new players dont get blog down by an difficulty curve to high.
Then you have an comedic aspect of the game they need to top: and if there recent trailers are to show: they are pretty good in terms of the black humour. People are going to be listening to glados more than they did in Portal 1.
I have been waiting for Portal 2 since playing the 1st and i cant wait for such awesome expereince that would follow.
but will it live up to its such high expectations?
or will it fail to meet the standards set by the 1st?
Of Course That's Just My Opinion, I Could Be Wrong
