Goku canj do that too. Its not that great a feat in DBZ actually. Freeza blew up planets and by the end of Dragonball hes pretty much cannon foder to guys like goku and Vegeta and even Picolo.
fuck, Kid Buu destrotyed multiple planets with him on it including the earth in a few minutes just searching for Goku (he just teleported planet to planet and blew each of them up)... and regenarated completely from the explosions from the atoms left of him.
