You dont see the vast price difference, this isnt even a sequel it would most likely be the same damn game with more stuff. 15 dollar better version>>>>>>50 dollar regular |
The game has gone on sale for $25 or less at least five times on the EA Store following the bets EA makes in NBA and NCAA games. They take a side, like a Lakers vs. Celtics game, if the Celtics win the game goes on sale for 6 hours type of thing. A concious shopper that knows their sales, which are amazingly in the 50%-60% off range often times, can really take EA for a ride. I think I spent less than $60 total on NBA Jam, Left 4 Dead 2, Dante's Inferno and NCAA Football 11, and the MSRP on that grouping at the time of purchase was in the $160 range. I'm anticipating scoring both Crysis 2 and Homefront from them for less than $60 while both still sell for $60 a piece, sooner rather than later. It's only a matter of time.
Also it's doubtful the game will be $15 on XBLA/PSN in it's current content rich form. When it was originally going on there for this past iteration, it was going to be a version stripped of many of it's Wii features. Read up son.
